"Mental Toughness for Women in Sports" Facilitators: Dr. T. M. Mosley and Dr. LaKeitha Poole
Dr. T.M. Robinson-Mosley is a licensed therapist and sports mental health expert. She is the owner and managing partner of Mosley & Associates Consulting, LLC, which provides counseling & psychological services, sports consulting, diversity and inclusion training, & social impact consulting. For 12 years, Dr. Mosley has served in leadership positions in higher education where she advises on developing holistic support services for student-athletes. She also serves as a mental health expert for the NCAA and has advised athletes on championship teams, including LSU Football & Women’s Basketball and Dartmouth Football. As a former student-athlete (rugby), she recognizes the importance of providing specialized mental health support for athletes. So she developed The Sports Mental Health & Wellness Playbook™, which offers transformative & practical strategies to improve the lives & performance of athletes in their playing career and beyond. Dr. Mosley has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Psychology from Alabama, an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from LSU and a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Services from Georgia State University.

Dr. LaKeitha Poole is the founder of Small Talk Counseling & Consulting and serves as the Director of Student-Athlete Mental Health for the LSU Athletic Department’s Sport Psychology & Counseling. She was the first African American woman to serve in this capacity in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). As a licensed professional counselor and board approved clinical supervisor (LPC-S) she works individually with student-athletes to overcome emotional disorders, sport & career-related issues, addiction, dysfunctional eating, relational conflicts, and more. She also works with teams to create mental skills training and team building plans to increase cohesion and strengthen overall performance; and supports administrators, coaches, and athletic department staff in managing their roles in the lives of their players to enhance personal and professional mental health and wellness. A graduate of Florida State University, LSU, and Regent University, Dr. Poole’s research emphases include mental health and wellness techniques among college students, vulnerability and resilience in domestic marginalized populations, and family systems. Dr. Poole also serves as an adjunct instructor in the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education, and is a Board Member for the Baranco-Clark YMCA in Old South Baton Rouge. She has served individuals, professional organizations, and athletic sports teams across the country for the last seven years with her practice being built upon erasing mental health stigma, authenticity, and personalized care.

Financial Literacy Workshop Facilitator: Hashlie Thomas
Hashlie Thomas is a Wells Fargo Personal Banker. Born in Haiti born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Hashlie has developed a specialty in advising young, college-aged adults on making wise financial decisions to form the foundation for financial success. She frequently provides financial literacy workshops at her alma mater, Florida Memorial University and other colleges and universities.

Leadership Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Jen Welter
Coach Jen Welter is best known as the first female to coach in the NFL as an assistant LBs Coach with The Arizona Cardinals. However, what most people don’t know, is that Coach Jen broke into men’s professional football as the first female to play running back in men’s pro football. From that experience with the Texas Revolution, Coach Jen started her coaching career as the LBs coach with the Revolution. Following the NFL, Welter became the Head Coach of the First Australian Women's National Team fielded in July 2017; joined the advisory board of the Pro Football HOF's Game for Life Academy, and wrote her first book Play Big, Lessons in Living Limitless from the First Woman to Coach in the NFL. In 2018 Coach Jen focused on the importance of being a female role model in sports. She founded Grrrridiron Girls flag football camps for girls & took the story digital by partnering with Toya to develop A series of Minecraft Worlds titled “Coach Jen.” In December of 2018, Coach Jen set the stage for a powerful 2019 by partnering with Adidas for her Grrridiron Girls camps and returning to men’s professional football joining the coaching staff of the Atlanta Legends as a defensive specialist. Prior to joining the men's game, Coach Jen had an amazing career in women's football which included 2 Gold Medals with Team USA, 4 World Championships, and 8 All-Star selections. While playing football, Dr. Jen obtained her PhD in Psychology, and a Masters in Sport Psychology. Dr. Jen also have a BS in Business from Boston College. Coach Jen's message has been widely acclaimed and well received on worldwide platforms that speak to audiences from global enterprising companies, top performing schools, brand nonprofits, and professional sports teams.

"Pitch Anything and Anyone Successfully" Facilitator: Cecelia Townes
Cecelia Townes, the Sporty Esquire, is a proud former tennis player at Howard University and a graduate of UCLA School of Law. Cecelia’s legal practice focuses on employment and labor law. When she is not pouring over legal matters, Cecelia remains dedicated to sports and empowering women. Her focuses are on helping women discover and walk in their purpose, improving on the image of women in sports and on preparing athletes for life after sports. As such she created and runs GladiatHers®, a company that empowers women who want to achieve their maximum potential. Cecelia served on the Board of Directors of the national nonprofit, Play Like a Girl! and is a contributing writer for Forbes.com. She makes regular appearances on podcasts, participates as a guest speaker for various events and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Find out more about Cecelia here.
